 Chang WenLin  arrived from the Changchun Orphange with cleft lip and palate and malnutrition.

Update: September 2010

Chang WenLin is living here almost a month. On his arrival mouth had a serious infection (Cleft Palate III) along with a high fever, his height was 56cm and he weighed 3.9 kg. His medical treatment from the very day of his arrival was medicine to bring down his fever, antibiotics, and protein. He was suffering while eating. Medical check found that he had a hemangioma under his tongue, but it was so red, and also another one like a cyst growing out from the right side. The doctor recommended to have the surgery asap. After contacting with his orphanage, he was taken back to send to hospital for surgery on the 23 of August. When he left the Center his height was 56 cm and his weight was 4.3 kg. We look forward to the completion of his surgery and his return for post operative care.

Fostercare Children

Would you please help support the children in our fostercare home in Siping, China.  It costs $280 per child per month to provide the medical care, food, diapers, and staff to give these children a chance to survive long enough to be adopted.  We don't expect everyone to provide complete sponsorship to one child so we offer you three options for monthly donations.  "Option A" is $28 per month (just 92 cents a day), "Option B" is $20 per month (just 65 cents a day), "Option C" is $10 per month (just 32 cents a day), or if you are feeling really crazy, I mean generous, today; we have "Option D" so you can provide 100% of a child's support per month.  We hope one of these will allow you to help these children.  They have no one else to look to for hope.
